CÉAD MÍLE FÁILTE

Scoil Mhuire is a mixed primary school for boys and girls in the Sliabh Luachra village of Brosna, County Kerry. We have three  Mainstream Classroom teachers, a Special Education Teacher and a Special Needs Assistant.  Our principal is John Cahill and our deputy principal is Ann O Donnell. 

Scoil Mhuire is a rural DEIS( Delivering Equality of Opportunity in Schools) school for the past 14 years. We are a vibrant, dedicated and hard-working primary school which strives to deliver an excellence in education and to promote cultural, moral, religious, social and spiritual values and traditions. We always strive to foster a happy environment for pupils , parents and staff in our school. The staff of Scoil Mhuire  work with parents to help every child, including those with special educational needs, to reach their full potential.

Scoil Mhuire participates in many events and extracurricular activities to give the best possible learning experiences for our pupils. . These events and activities include swimming, sporting competitions, quizzes, music lessons to name but a few. The school is involved with many initiatives including Discover Primary Science and Maths Award, the Green Flag Programme, the School Meals Programme and Health Promoting Schools
